SinHeresy are a six piece Symphonic Heavy Metal band from Trieste in Italy. 'Paint The World' is their long awaited debut album that will be released on the 30th September 2013 through Bakerteam Records. The album features 10 tracks of the bands own material that the band describe as an early Christmas present for their fans, so lets take off the wrapping paper and hear what Symphonic Metal delights are inside !!!
The album opener Last Fall starts with a soft orchestral intro which soon gives way to big guitar riffs, driving bass, pounding double kick drums as the track bursts to life, fast paced and heavy with keyboards giving the song it's Symphonic Metal edge. The combination of clean Male/Female vocals, no growls here, works well and they compliment each other perfectly. A similar theme continues into the next track The Gambler, another fast paced heavy song with the heavenly rising vocals of Cecilia Petrini and the powerful vocals of her male counterpart Stefano Sain taking centre stage again. Paint The World, the albums title track is a slightly slower paced song in which the keyboards duel with the guitars to give the track a more melodic, symphonic edge. Track 4 Roses & Thorns brings a dramatic change to proceedings. A slow piano intro leads us into the album's first ballad. The softer, lighter music lets the quality of the Male/Female vocals really shine through before soulful guitar work and a big solo lifts the track to a melodic heavier ending. Made For Sin see's a return to the heavier sound, a mid paced track with duel vocals, big guitar riffs, bass runs and pounding drums. Next up is Break Point, again heavy and mid paced with some quirky keyboard work which gives the track a catchy melody. The Male/Female vocals combine to stunning effect in the chorus sections, another quality track. Lost In Shadows is a fast paced Symphonic Metal stormer, the lighter/heavier musical passages in the vocal verses work well with Cecilia's and Stefano's vocals combing again in the chorus. The track also features some added choral voices in parts which add to the quality of the song, heavenly. Next up is the albums second ballad Our Angel, a slow paced track with soft Male/Female vocals over an acoustic guitar that is lifted by another great guitar solo/guitar work thus delivering a heavier end to the song. Elua's Gift has a very Middle Eastern/Arabian sound to it. Again, another heavy, mid paced track with the awesome dual vocals combining again in the chorus and the added choral voices give the song a haunting, melodic quality. Last but by no means least is Lying Dreams, a fast paced guitar/kick drum driven track with big bass lines and melodic keys, the Male/Female vocals combining nicely again in the vocal/chorus sections, a great way to bring the album to a close.

SinHeresy are without doubt a talented group of musicians and 'Paint The World' is a top quality debut album that certainly whets the appetite for more. This is without doubt some of the best Symphonic Metal i've heard in a long long time. The production/mix of the album is second none with a perfect balance between music and vocals. Who could ask for more ?
A must have album for any fans of this genre of Metal music ... Symphonic Heavy Metal Heaven. 5/5 /rock
