Dynamo Festival on Saturday 18th July! Yes, the photo was taken on Saturday. They did the meet and greet just an hour before they went onstage.

Had a great time Saturday night! Band in fantastic form, my gig of the year! An excellent mix of old and new material. Alissa has so much energy and command of the crowd. As good as any front woman i know. It was nice at the meet and greet too. Michael Amott was in great form and there were a few la...

Finally getting to see Arch Enemy live with the new line up in Dublin on Saturday night! Following the cancellation of Alt Fest i had to wait a few months longer than expected but as long as i don't have any transport issues i'll make this one. I'm doing a meet and greet before the gig too!

I think a lot will say that Paul. Although a lot of other people seem totally oblivious to their problems! When they announced the album was coming out some people assumed everything was rosy again rather that that they'd just agreed to put it out.

Enjoyed the Epica gig on Saturday night! They probably did about 1hr 40 mins in the end so a decent set and one of the loudest crowds i've ever seen them play to. Really good band these days. They hinted that they will be back very soon (presumably a festival or high profile support slot) but i may ...

Third Pythia album finally released today. Be interesting to see what people say about it.

What you have to consider is will that price bring in casual fans who know little about the bands? Most of these gigs you see the same faces who are there at gigs in pubs when only 10-20 people attend. Getting those in is easy but it's more of a challenge to be attractive to floating fans. Rainover ...

And it'll be like an MFVF get together with lots of mates and laughs! As for the lineup, i'm not that excited by it but i'm sure i'll discover one or two bands i like and have a good time. I felt the same before MFVF to be fair. It may just be a reflection of me being a bit burnt out by the "fe...

To be honest i think £45 is fairly steep for Dames of Darkness looking at who's playing but i suppose personal taste comes in to it too. Leaves Eyes will bring in a few for instance and they do nothing for me at all.

Nice to see it increased to 2 days. As i'd said elsewhere there'll be a real interest in festivals like this with MFVF cancelled and people worldwide are already talking about visiting for it.

You can just review it off Spotify! Otherwise, ask Noise Cartel if they have review copies and whether you can have one. The band don't have them any more i don't think. First 2 albums Emily had boxes at home but that most certainly isn't happening now!!

"Shadows of a broken past" is the album title but there is no track of that name. "The Key" is the track that's been on the preview advert. A song called "Bring Me Home" is my favourite. I've had it on repeat.

The new album was leaked on to spotify recently and although they've been asked to take it down that hadn't happened as of yesterday. Some very good tracks on the album, overall by far their best work in my opinion. I hope they carry on with a new singer as musically their work is excellent and stil...

I first heard about them as my son's Greek girlfriend was friends with their old singer and introduced us to their music! Was happy to see them at MFVF a couple of years ago where i really enjoyed them but not heard this new stuff. I saw their old singer Iliana over the weekend with her great new ba...

Still too knackered to go in to much detail but a fantastic festival as always. A brilliant weekend with lots of familiar faces and a wide range of music to suite all tastes. Really impressed with Enemy of Reality of the bands i hadn't seen. Also enjoyed Aria Flame on Sunday and Ayin Aleph on Friday...
